Chanel is hiring a Beauty Advisor (Travel Retail) in Singapore — client-facing role selling cosmetics and fragrances in duty-free retail.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exemplary, personalised client service to discerning international and transit customers in a travel-retail (duty-free) environment.
- Recommend and demonstrate make-up and skincare products through in-counter consultations, bespoke application and product sampling.
- Achieve and contribute to sales targets, conversion metrics and average transaction value while maintaining long-term client relationships (clienteling).
- Maintain immaculate presentation of the counter according to Chanel visual merchandising and brand standards.
- Manage stock levels, replenishment, receiving and loss-prevention procedures in accordance with travel-retail regulations and internal controls.
- Operate point-of-sale systems, process transactions and handle duty-free documentation accurately.
- Collaborate with the boutique/airport team to execute launches, promotional activities and client events.
- Adhere to Chanel’s code of conduct, product knowledge standards and hygiene procedures for cosmetics application.
Qualifications
- Proven aptitude for luxury retail client service with confident interpersonal presence and polished grooming.
- Professional proficiency in make-up application and skincare consultation; formal diploma or certification in beauty, cosmetics or cosmetology is advantageous.
- Strong sales orientation with ability to meet targets and proactively build a client portfolio.
- Flexible availability, including weekends, public holidays and shift patterns typical of airport/travel-retail operations.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with an international clientele; additional Asian language skills are advantageous.
- Right to work in Singapore.

Experience
Typically 1–3 years of direct retail experience in cosmetics, skincare or fragrance; prior travel-retail or airport counter experience is highly desirable.
Education
High-school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in beauty, cosmetology or makeup artistry preferred.
