Chanel is hiring a Beauty Advisor in New South Wales (Sydney) to deliver luxury client consultations and drive beauty sales at a Chanel boutique.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised beauty consultations and product recommendations across skincare, makeup and fragrance to cultivate long-term client relationships.
- Demonstrate expert knowledge of Chanel product ranges and application techniques, performing makeovers and skin analysis as required.
- Achieve and exceed individual and boutique sales targets through consultative selling and effective clienteling.
- Maintain premium visual merchandising and product presentation to Chanel standards, including stock rotation and promotional displays.
- Operate point-of-sale terminal, process transactions and manage client records in the CRM with accuracy and discretion.
- Support stock management activities: receiving deliveries, inventory counts and replenishment.
- Participate in ongoing product and brand training, bespoke events and promotional activities to elevate the client experience.
- Adhere rigorously to hygiene, safety and luxury service protocols in the boutique environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1–2 years' retail experience, preferably within prestige beauty or luxury fashion.
- Formal cosmetology, makeup artistry or beauty therapy certification preferred.
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a consultative selling approach.
- Flexible availability including weekends and public holidays as required by boutique hours.
- Right to work in Australia.

At least 1–2 years of hands-on experience in prestige beauty or luxury retail, demonstrating consistent sales performance and strong client relationship management.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; cosmetology, beauty therapy or makeup artistry qualification preferred.
