Chanel is hiring a Beauty Advisor in New South Wales (Sydney) to deliver luxury client consultations and drive beauty sales at a Chanel boutique.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalised beauty consultations and product recommendations across skincare, makeup and fragrance to cultivate long-term client relationships.
  • Demonstrate expert knowledge of Chanel product ranges and application techniques, performing makeovers and skin analysis as required.
  • Achieve and exceed individual and boutique sales targets through consultative selling and effective clienteling.
  • Maintain premium visual merchandising and product presentation to Chanel standards, including stock rotation and promotional displays.
  • Operate point-of-sale terminal, process transactions and manage client records in the CRM with accuracy and discretion.
  • Support stock management activities: receiving deliveries, inventory counts and replenishment.
  • Participate in ongoing product and brand training, bespoke events and promotional activities to elevate the client experience.
  • Adhere rigorously to hygiene, safety and luxury service protocols in the boutique environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1–2 years' retail experience, preferably within prestige beauty or luxury fashion.
  • Formal cosmetology, makeup artistry or beauty therapy certification preferred.
  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a consultative selling approach.
  • Flexible availability including weekends and public holidays as required by boutique hours.
  • Right to work in Australia.

Experience

At least 1–2 years of hands-on experience in prestige beauty or luxury retail, demonstrating consistent sales performance and strong client relationship management.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; cosmetology, beauty therapy or makeup artistry qualification preferred.
