Chanel is hiring a Beauty Advisor in Sepang, Malaysia — client-facing cosmetics specialist delivering consultations, application services and sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised consultations and product demonstrations across makeup, skincare and fragrance to build long-term client relationships and loyalty.
- Achieve and exceed individual sales targets through consultative selling and proactive client acquisition and retention.
- Provide in‑store application services (makeup/skincare treatments) to showcase product efficacy and drive conversion.
- Maintain merchandising standards and visual presentation consistent with brand guidelines, including stock replenishment and display upkeep.
- Manage point-of-sale transactions, client records and follow-up appointments; ensure accurate cash handling and daily reconciliation.
- Participate in product training, brand events and promotional campaigns; act as an ambassador for new launches and limited-edition ranges.
- Uphold hygiene, safety and regulatory standards for product sampling and application.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in luxury cosmetics or prestige beauty retail (typically 1–3 years preferred).
- Demonstrable track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a client-facing environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and consultative selling skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Comfortable performing in-store application services and product demonstrations.
- Flexibility to work retail hours including weekends, evenings and promotional events.
- Professional presentation and adherence to brand standards; cosmetology or related certification is a plus.
