Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised in-store consultations and product demonstrations across skincare, makeup and fragrance to high-net-worth and local clientele.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets through expert product recommendation, clienteling and follow-up.
- Conduct skin analyses and bespoke beauty regimens, performing professional make-up applications and mini treatments where appropriate.
- Maintain immaculate visual merchandising and presentation in accordance with Chanel brand guidelines.
- Manage stock levels, complete merchandising replenishment and ensure accurate point-of-sale transactions.
- Build and maintain a client database; schedule appointments and proactively re-engage clients to drive repeat business.
- Participate in in-store events, product launches and brand training sessions to elevate client experience.
- Uphold hygiene, safety and compliance standards for all beauty services and product handling.
Qualifications
- Professional diploma or certification in cosmetology, aesthetics or a related field preferred.
- Demonstrable experience in luxury cosmetics retail, ideally 1–3 years with a premium or designer beauty brand.
- Polished presentation and exceptional interpersonal skills tailored to a luxury clientele.
- Strong commercial acumen with a proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Flexible availability including weekends and peak retail periods.
- Excellent command of the local language and confident conversational English; additional languages an asset.
Skills
Experience
Preferably 1–3 years of direct retail or counter experience in cosmetics or beauty services, with exposure to luxury-brand selling and client advisory.
Education
Certificate or diploma in cosmetology, aesthetics, makeup artistry or equivalent vocational training preferred.
