Chanel seeks a Beauty Advisor in Kuala Lumpur to deliver luxury client service and drive sales across makeup and skincare.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised consultations and product recommendations across Chanel’s beauty range (makeup, skincare, fragrances) to cultivate long-term client relationships.
- Achieve and exceed individual and boutique sales targets through consultative selling and proactive clienteling (appointments, follow-ups, and client outreach).
- Perform professional makeup application and skincare diagnostics, offering tailored regimens and demonstrating product usage.
- Maintain boutique presentation to Chanel visual standards: merchandising, sampling, stock rotation and display upkeep.
- Operate POS systems, process transactions, manage returns and ensure accurate daily cash reconciliation.
- Support inventory control, stock replenishment and receipt processing in alignment with store procedures.
- Participate in product launches, in-store events and training sessions; act as a brand ambassador to uphold Chanel’s image and service codes.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to deliver luxury retail service with a client-focused approach.
- Vocational training or certification in beauty, cosmetics or cosmetology preferred.
- Comfortable performing professional makeup applications and basic skincare consultations.
- Strong numeracy and organisational skills for stock and cash-handling duties.
- Authorised to work in Malaysia (local work eligibility required).
Skills
Experience
Typically 1–3 years of retail experience, preferably within prestige or luxury cosmetics; demonstrable track record of meeting sales KPIs and building repeat clientele.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; professional certificate in cosmetics, beauty therapy or related field preferred.
