Chanel is hiring a Beauty Advisor in Johor Bahru — deliver luxury beauty consultations, drive sales and cultivate client relationships.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised, high‑end beauty consultations and product demonstrations to build long‑term client relationships and loyalty.
- Achieve and exceed individual and boutique sales targets through consultative selling and proactive client acquisition.
- Provide makeup application and skincare advice tailored to client needs, conducting product trials and bespoke recommendations.
- Manage daily retail operations including point‑of‑sale transactions, stock replenishment, visual merchandising and housekeeping to brand standards.
- Maintain and grow the client database through accurate record keeping, follow‑up communications and appointment management.
- Participate in brand and product training, seasonal launches, in‑store events and promotional activities to support commercial objectives.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, loss‑prevention procedures and hygiene/health standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cosmetics or luxury retail sales; demonstrable track record of meeting sales targets preferred.
- Strong consultative selling and clienteling skills with an ability to create personalised experiences.
- Excellent interpersonal and presentational skills; poised, professional grooming consistent with luxury brand standards.
- Numerate, organised and computer-literate with experience using point‑of‑sale systems and client databases.
- Flexible availability including weekends, evenings and public holidays as required by boutique trading hours.

Experience
Typically 1–3 years of direct experience in beauty retail, cosmetics consulting or luxury client service; experience with prestigious or high‑end beauty brands is advantageous.
Education
Secondary education (high school) required; vocational training or certification in cosmetology, makeup artistry or beauty therapy preferred.
