Role & Responsibilities
- Provide personalised consultations and product recommendations for makeup, skincare and fragrances at the Chanel counter or boutique.
- Deliver bespoke makeup applications and demonstrate product usage with impeccable hygiene and technique.
- Support daily sales operations including client reception, merchandising, stock replenishment and POS transactions.
- Assist with clienteling activities: maintain client records, follow up on enquiries and contribute to appointment management.
- Ensure visual standards are upheld at the counter: presentation, sample rotation and promotional displays.
- Participate in brand and product training sessions and apply technical knowledge to client interactions.
- Support in-store events and launches, including preparation, client invitations and on-the-day assistance.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a programme in cosmetology, beauty therapy, retail management or a related field.
- Demonstrated interest in luxury cosmetics, skincare and fragrances with a commitment to learning technical application techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, polished presentation and a client-centric approach.
- Available to begin in July 2026 and able to work a retail schedule including weekends and peak periods.
- Legal authorization to intern and work in France.
Skills
Experience
No prior professional experience is required; previous retail or beauty counter experience is a strong advantage and will be considered favourably.
Education
Enrolment in or recent completion of a recognised vocational or higher-education programme in beauty, cosmetology, retail, hospitality or a related discipline.
