Chanel seeks a Beauty Advisor (Fragrance & Beauty) in Qingdao. Deliver expert consultations, drive sales and embody Chanel's luxury beauty experience.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, personalised client consultations and product demonstrations across fragrance, makeup and skincare.
- Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets through expert product recommendations and solution selling.
- Develop and maintain a proactive client book using the maison's clienteling practices; follow up to cultivate long-term relationships and repeat business.
- Provide professional makeovers and skin consultations, including product trials, application and aftercare advice.
- Maintain visual standards for counters and displays in line with Chanel merchandising guidelines; support promotional rollouts and in-store events.
- Manage stock at the point of sale, perform inventory checks, and ensure product integrity, hygiene and presentation standards are upheld.
- Record client interactions and transaction details accurately in the CRM/POS systems and support store reporting when required.
- Adhere to brand compliance, health & safety procedures and Chanel’s service protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven retail experience in beauty, cosmetics, or luxury goods; experience with fragrance and skincare is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets in a retail or department store environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused orientation.
- Professional presentation and strong make-up/skincare application skills; ability to perform consultative beauty services.
- Basic numeracy and accuracy for handling transactions and stock reconciliations.
- Availability to work retail hours including weekends and peak promotional periods.
Skills
Experience
Previous experience in luxury beauty retail or cosmetics counters is preferred; typically 1–3 years in client-facing beauty sales roles with demonstrable sales results.
Education
Secondary education required; vocational training or certification in cosmetology, esthetics or related beauty disciplines is an advantage.

The successful candidate will be located in Qingdao, Shandong, China.
