Role & Responsibilities
- Support senior Beauty Advisors in delivering personalised client consultations and beauty services, including makeup application and skincare advice.
- Assist with clienteling activities: scheduling appointments, following up with clients, and maintaining relationship records in-store systems.
- Execute brand-standard merchandising and visual presentation of beauty counters to ensure impeccable product display and inventory rotation.
- Manage stock: receive deliveries, replenish displays, perform stock counts and maintain back‑room organisation.
- Operate the point-of-sale system, process transactions and ensure accurate cash handling and daily reconciliations.
- Prepare product samples and testers, maintain hygiene and safety protocols for in-store demonstrations and testers.
- Contribute to sales objectives by promoting product knowledge, upselling complementary items and supporting promotional events.
- Ensure compliance with Chanel’s customer service standards, brand guidelines and local regulatory requirements for cosmetics.
Qualifications
- Proven aptitude for client-facing roles with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrable interest or training in cosmetics, skincare or makeup; vocational certificate in beauty or cosmetology preferred.
- Professional presentation and meticulous attention to detail consistent with luxury retail standards.
- Ability to work retail hours, including weekends and evenings as required.
- Comfortable using retail systems and handling sales transactions with accuracy.
- Fluent in Korean is assumed advantageous for this location; additional language skills are a plus.
Skills
Experience
At least 1 year of retail or beauty experience preferred; direct experience in luxury cosmetics or prestige beauty environments is advantageous.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational qualification in beauty/cosmetology preferred.
