Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised consultations and beauty services (make-up application, skincare advice) to an affluent and diverse clientele in the La Défense / Neuilly retail environment.
- Build and maintain a client portfolio through proactive clienteling, appointment management and aftercare to maximise lifetime value.
- Achieve and contribute to sales targets through product recommendations, cross-selling and up-selling while maintaining brand guidelines for service and presentation.
- Uphold Chanel’s merchandising, visual and stock standards on the sales floor and at counter spaces; ensure impeccable presentation of displays and samples.
- Participate in brand and product training, promotional events and in-store initiatives; collaborate with colleagues to ensure a seamless luxury client experience.
Qualifications
- Eligible for an alternance (apprenticeship) contract beginning September 2026 and enrolled in a recognised vocational programme.
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, polished presentation and a genuine passion for luxury beauty and cosmetics.
- Customer-focused orientation with the ability to listen, advise and build lasting client relationships.
- Flexible availability to work retail hours, including evenings and weekends; reliability and punctuality.
- Previous retail or beauty experience is an advantage but not mandatory for motivated candidates.
Skills
Experience
Open to candidates at the start of their professional trajectory; prior experience in beauty retail or luxury customer service is beneficial but not required. The role suits students seeking practical sales and clienteling experience within a high-end cosmetics environment.
Education
Enrolment in a recognised alternance/vocational programme (e.g. BTS, vocational diploma) in cosmetics, retail, sales or marketing; eligible for an apprenticeship contract in France.
