Chanel seeks a Beauty Advisor (apprenticeship) for the Printemps La Valentine stand in Marseille — apprenticeship starting Sept 2026.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide personalised beauty consultations and product demonstrations to clients at the Printemps La Valentine counter, tailoring recommendations across makeup and skincare.
- Deliver exceptional client service consistent with Chanel brand standards, including clienteling, aftercare advice and cultivating long-term relationships.
- Achieve individual and counter sales targets through consultative selling, timely follow-ups and promotional activities.
- Maintain counter presentation and visual merchandising to Chanel merchandising guidelines; ensure samples, displays and promotional material are immaculate and current.
- Manage stock levels, merchandising replenishment and basic inventory tasks; assist with deliveries and stock rotation.
- Operate the point-of-sale system, process transactions accurately and support day-to-day administrative duties for the stand.
- Participate actively in the apprenticeship training programme, in-store product training and assessments; implement feedback from supervisors and trainers.
Qualifications
- Eligible for an alternance/apprenticeship contract and enrolled in a recognised vocational or higher-education programme in beauty, cosmetics, retail or a related discipline.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a service-oriented demeanour and professional presentation.
- Interest in luxury beauty, product formulation and make-up application; a demonstrable aptitude for consultative selling.
- Availability to work retail hours including weekends and evenings as required at the Printemps La Valentine department store.

Experience
No prior professional experience required; previous retail, cosmetics counter, or beauty-therapy experience is advantageous but not mandatory for apprenticeship candidates.
Education
Enrolment in a vocational or higher-education programme eligible for alternance/apprenticeship (beauty, cosmetics, retail or related field).
