Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised consultations across makeup and skincare categories, recommending products and routines tailored to each client.
- Perform professional makeup applications, product demonstrations and sampling to drive conversion and client satisfaction.
- Build and maintain a client portfolio through proactive clienteling, appointment management and follow‑up.
- Achieve individual and boutique sales targets while maximising average transaction value and attachment rates.
- Execute visual merchandising, stock replenishment and housekeeping to uphold Chanel presentation and brand standards.
- Operate point‑of‑sale systems accurately, manage transactions and maintain administrative records related to sales and appointments.
- Participate in brand and product training sessions, applying learnings to improve product knowledge and selling techniques.
- Support promotional activity, events and in‑store initiatives to enhance client engagement and brand visibility.
Qualifications
- Eligible for an alternance/work‑study contract starting September 2026 and enrolled in a relevant vocational or higher education programme.
- Strong interest in beauty, cosmetics and luxury retail with a customer‑centric mindset.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to create trust and rapport with a discerning clientele.
- Professional presentation and high standards of personal grooming consistent with Chanel brand values.
- Availability to work retail hours including evenings and weekends as required by the boutique schedule.
- Basic numeracy and comfort using point‑of‑sale systems; reliability and organisational rigour.
Skills
Experience
Previous retail or cosmetics experience is advantageous but not mandatory; candidates should demonstrate strong customer service aptitude and a commitment to learning within a luxury retail environment.
Education
Enrolled in or accepted to a vocational or higher education programme in cosmetics, retail, sales, business or a related discipline (work‑study/alternance eligibility required).
