CHANEL Beauty Advisor (part-time, 32–40 hours) in Amsterdam's Bijenkorf boutique. Luxury beauty retail position.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide personalized beauty advice to clients across makeup, skincare, and fragrance categories, including exclusive CHANEL collections
- Actively engage customers and invite them to explore CHANEL's complete fragrance and beauty portfolio with professional product demonstrations
- Introduce new product launches and communicate relevant technical product information to ensure customer understanding and satisfaction
- Enroll clients in the CHANEL database and maintain proactive, ongoing relationships through personalized invitations to services and exclusive events
- Maintain optimal boutique presentation through visual merchandising execution, product arrangement, and adherence to brand marketing standards and policies
- Demonstrate strong commercial acumen by actively contributing to sales targets and performance goals
Qualifications
- Completed training in visagie (makeup artistry) and/or beauty specialism
- 2–5 years of demonstrated experience in a comparable beauty retail or luxury sector advisory role
- Fluent in Dutch (written and spoken) with professional-level English language proficiency
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with natural ability to build client rapport
- Self-directed, representational manner with commercial mindset and strong sales orientation
- Flexibility to work retail hours aligned with Bijenkorf department store opening times

2–5 years of relevant experience in beauty retail, cosmetics sales, or luxury sector advisory roles
Education
