Chanel seeks an ESG Auditor in Florence/Milan, Italy to conduct supplier audits in Veneto and Tuscany. Full-time role with 50-60% travel.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct ESG audits at supplier facilities in Veneto and Tuscany regions, following Chanel's corporate methodology
- Analyze supplier network mapping, identify connected risks, and propose audit planning to address them
- Develop and propose individual audit plans, prepare for each audit by understanding context and operations, collect preparatory information, and execute on-site audits at supplier facilities
- Prepare for and participate in audit debrief meetings with operational teams
- Provide field feedback to improve risk analysis and identify partner support needs; propose refinements to the auditing model for greater efficiency
- Draft and communicate audit reports
- Support operational teams and partners in post-audit follow-up activities
- Monitor and track supplier action plans post-audit in collaboration with business operations
- Participate in regular team meetings in Italy and Paris
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Economics
- Minimum 3 years of experience in ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) auditing within industrial contexts or consulting firms
- Experience in supply chain transformation projects from raw material sourcing is highly valued
- Fluent Italian and English (mandatory); French language knowledge is advantageous
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Active listening and curiosity
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional activities across multiple sectors
- Facility in leading and facilitating working groups and meetings
- Project-oriented mindset with ability to engage and involve stakeholders
- Persuasive and proactive approach

Experience
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in ESG auditing, compliance assessment, or environmental and social consulting within industrial or manufacturing contexts.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Economics.
