Chanel is hiring an Audiovisual Production Manager in London to lead AV for shows, events and digital content.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end audiovisual production for runway shows, brand events, in-house films and digital campaigns, ensuring creative intent is faithfully executed.
- Collaborate closely with creative directors, show producers, internal communications and marketing teams to develop technical briefs and production schedules.
- Manage technical vendors and suppliers, negotiate contracts, oversee procurement and ensure timely delivery, installation and commissioning of AV systems.
- Produce and control production budgets, track costs, and deliver projects on time and within financial targets.
- Recruit, hire and supervise AV crews, technical leads and freelance specialists; create call sheets and manage onsite team logistics.
- Design and implement broadcast and live-event workflows, including multi-camera shoots, live streaming, projection mapping and LED media server integration.
- Maintain and manage equipment inventory, maintenance schedules, and technical compliance with health, safety and broadcast standards.
- Troubleshoot technical problems under pressure during rehearsals and live events and implement contingency plans to minimise risk.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to translate creative concepts into technical AV solutions for live and recorded productions.
- Demonstrable track record of managing suppliers, budgets and cross-functional stakeholders in a high-pressure environment.
- Strong leadership and team-management capabilities with experience coordinating large freelance teams.
- Knowledge of UK health & safety regulations as they apply to live events and rental equipment.
Skills
Experience
Minimum 5 years of hands-on audiovisual production experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity; prior experience delivering fashion shows, branded events or high-end live productions is strongly preferred.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Film/Media Production, AV Engineering, Theatre Technology or equivalent professional experience.
