Chanel in Beijing seeks an FBP Assistant Training Manager to support boutique learning, onboarding and store readiness for the brand.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of the FBP training strategy across boutiques, ensuring alignment with brand standards and commercial objectives.
  • Design, adapt and deliver classroom, on-the-job and e-learning modules for sales, clienteling and product knowledge.
  • Coordinate onboarding and continuous development pathways for boutique staff and store managers in partnership with HR and retail operations.
  • Manage the training calendar, logistics for face-to-face sessions and the upkeep of training content and materials.
  • Monitor training effectiveness through performance metrics, post-training assessments and store-level KPIs; produce regular reports and insights.
  • Provide targeted coaching and capability-building for store teams and field trainers; support change management for new initiatives.
  • Liaise with merchandising, product and marketing teams to ensure timely specialist product training and launch readiness.
  • Maintain and administrate Learning Management System records and ensure training compliance across the FBP scope.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in retail training, learning & development or talent development — ideally within premium or luxury retail.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and deliver engaging training programs and to translate brand standards into practical retail behaviours.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience working across operations, HR and commercial teams.
  • Analytical aptitude for measuring training impact and translating data into actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

Experience

Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Education, Hospitality or a related discipline; qualifications in L&D, instructional design or coaching are advantageous.
