Chanel seeks Fragrance & Beauty Assistant Training Manager in Beijing. Design retail training solutions and develop frontline capabilities across Mainland China.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Design, enhance, and continuously optimize regional retail training solutions across product knowledge, client experience, selling techniques, and operational capabilities
  • Perform in-depth business diagnosis using point-of-sale performance data, customer service insights, and relevant metrics to identify capability gaps and training priorities
  • Act as owner for key regional training programmes, overseeing end-to-end planning, customization, enhancement, and quality tracking across retail locations
  • Partner with retail stakeholders and expert teams to localize training programmes aligned with business priorities and regional needs
  • Govern and continuously improve regional coaching quality, ensuring effective capability building at point-of-sale level
  • Communicate training insights, recommendations, and progress to retail leaders and cross-functional stakeholders with clarity and business context
  • Monitor training impact and learning effectiveness, adjusting solutions based on outcomes, feedback, and evolving business requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or above
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in retail training, learning and development, or people capability roles, preferably within luxury, beauty, retail, or FMCG sectors
  • Strong understanding of retail business operations and frontline capability requirements
  • Demonstrated expertise in programme ownership, including structured problem-solving, solution design, and continuous optimization
  • Excellent training and facilitation skills with ability to design and deliver impactful learning experiences across diverse learner groups
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing capabilities across functions and organizational levels
