Chanel is recruiting an Assistant to Fragrance & Beauty Director in Hamburg. Executive support role for Chanel Beauty Germany.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level administrative support to the Fragrance & Beauty Director Germany, including calendar management, prioritisation of appointments and daily inbox triage.
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel logistics, itineraries and per diem/expense reconciliation for the Director and visiting executives.
  • Prepare concise briefs, presentations and meeting materials; draft and proofread correspondence in both German and English.
  • Organise and support internal and external meetings, market visits, product launches and press or client events in Germany.
  • Act as primary liaison with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, retail operations, PR, legal, finance) to ensure timely follow-up and execution of Director-level decisions.
  • Manage confidential documents and sensitive information with absolute discretion and professionalism.
  • Track project deadlines, follow up on action items and maintain filing systems for contracts, product samples and key market documentation.
  • Assist with basic budget tracking and vendor invoice coordination relevant to the German fragrance & beauty activity.
  • Facilitate coordination of product samples, testers and showroom material for press, retail and commercial stakeholders.
  • Support ad-hoc executive projects, research and reporting on German market activity as required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience supporting senior executives; prior exposure to beauty, cosmetics or luxury retail preferred.
  • Fluent written and spoken German and English.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands and work to tight deadlines.
  • Proven discretion handling confidential information and commercial sensitivity.
  • Advanced competency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience preparing executive-level presentations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the capacity to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders across functions.

Experience

Bachelor's degree or equivalent vocational qualification in business, communications or a related discipline preferred; professional administrative training acceptable.
