Chanel — Paris: Internship, Assistant Supply Chain Planner (Joaillerie/Horlogerie), starting Sept 2026.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support demand planning and short‑term supply planning for the Joaillerie and Horlogerie product lines, consolidating inputs from commercial, ateliers and production partners.
  • Monitor inventory levels and component availability; flag risks and propose mitigation actions to maintain continuity of production.
  • Contribute to production scheduling and order follow‑up, liaising with internal ateliers and external suppliers to ensure on‑time delivery.
  • Prepare and maintain planning documentation and performance KPIs; produce regular reports and ad‑hoc analyses for the Supply Chain Manager.
  • Assist in the coordination of material flows, sample management and logistics related to high‑value items, ensuring compliance with internal controls and traceability requirements.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline planning processes and improve forecast accuracy.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s programme in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business or a related discipline.
  • Strong analytical aptitude, with accuracy and attention to detail when working with numerical data.
  • Ability to collaborate with multi‑disciplinary teams and communicate clearly with production ateliers and commercial stakeholders.
  • Discretion, respect for confidentiality and an appreciation for high‑value, artisanal products.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP or planning tools is an advantage.

Experience
