Chanel seeks an Assistant Sales Manager for a six-month internship in Paris boutiques, starting January 2027. Support retail operations and sales leadership.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support sales managers in directing and supervising sales teams across boutiques
- Optimize sales force scheduling and coordinate daily field organization, including restocking and merchandise arrangement
- Ensure strict adherence to boutique procedures and the Chanel Boutique Charter
- Coordinate boutique opening operations, including team deployment, supply management, and horology section setup
- Monitor and control merchandise presentation across retail locations
- Track reservations, pending sales, and inter-boutique transfers
- Welcome and advise clients during high-traffic periods and support sales floor activities
Qualifications
- Graduate or final-year student of a business school or university program
- Prior experience in luxury goods retail or sales
- Demonstrated interest in fashion and retail environments
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational ability and attention to detail
- Professional appearance and comportment
- Fluent English proficiency
- Proficient with standard computer applications and retail systems

First experience in luxury goods retail or sales is required; candidates should demonstrate a strong understanding of retail operations and customer-centric service delivery.
