Chanel in Paris (19 Rue Cambon) seeks an Assistant Sales Manager Intern starting July 2026 to support boutique operations and VIP clientelling.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Boutique Manager in daily store operations at the 19 Rue Cambon flagship, ensuring adherence to Chanel service and merchandising standards.
- Assist with clienteling activities: managing appointments, maintaining VIP relationships, preparing client dossiers and executing personalised service.
- Contribute to sales generation through active selling, product presentation and follow-up on leads and client enquiries.
- Participate in visual merchandising tasks and ensure boutique presentation is maintained to brand guidelines.
- Help manage inventory activities including stock reception, replenishment, transfers and basic stock reconciliation.
- Perform administrative duties: POS transactions, daily cash handling support, sales reporting and coordination of internal communications.
- Support boutique events and product launches, liaising with internal teams to ensure seamless execution.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's programme in Luxury Management, Business, Fashion, Retail or a related discipline.
- Professional presentation and a polished, client-focused demeanour appropriate for a flagship luxury environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a proactive, service-oriented approach to high-net-worth clientele.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in operations, merchandising and administrative tasks.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality when managing client information and VIP relationships.
- Availability to begin the internship in July 2026 and commit to the boutique's operating schedule.

Experience
No prior professional experience is strictly required; previous internships or customer-facing roles in retail—preferably within the luxury sector—are advantageous and will be considered a strong plus.
Education
Currently enrolled in a university or grande école programme (Bachelor's or Master's) in Luxury Management, Business, Fashion, Retail or a related field.
