Chanel seeks a Sales Manager Assistant to support luxury fashion retail operations at its flagship Paris boutique. Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, the successful candidate will coordinate sales team organization, oversee daily operations including merchandising and inventory management, ensure compliance with boutique procedures, and provide customer service during peak trading periods. This six-month internship offers immersive experience in luxury retail management within one of the world's most prestigious fashion houses.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist in organizing and optimizing sales team presence and field coordination, including restocking and merchandising tasks
- Implement and enforce boutique procedures and brand standards consistently across all operations
- Coordinate boutique opening protocols including team scheduling, supplies, packaging zones, and watch department setup
- Monitor and control merchandising displays and visual presentation standards
- Track customer reservations, pending sales, and inter-boutique transfers
- Welcome and advise clientele during peak traffic periods
Qualifications
- Student from a business school or university program
- Fluent English speaker
- Proficiency with computer systems and tools
- Excellent personal presentation and grooming standards
- Strong interpersonal and service orientation skills
Skills
Experience
First professional experience in luxury goods retail sales is required. Demonstrated interest in fashion and retail environment is essential.
