Chanel Paris – Sales Assistant Manager internship (6 months, July–December 2023). Support boutique leadership in luxury retail operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Sales Manager in leading and organizing the sales team, optimizing staffing schedules and coordinating day-to-day field operations including stock replenishment and store organization
- Ensure implementation and compliance with boutique procedures and the Chanel Brand Charter
- Coordinate boutique opening operations including team briefings, field supplies, packaging areas, and horology displays
- Monitor and control merchandising standards and presentation
- Track reservations, pending sales, and inter-boutique transfers
- Greet and advise clientele during peak shopping periods, delivering elevated customer experiences
Qualifications
- Student from a business school or university
- First professional experience in luxury retail sales
- Strong interest in fashion and retail sector
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
- Fluent English proficiency
- Proficient in computer systems and office software
