Chanel is hiring an Assistant Retail Development Manager in Taipei to lead sales training, retail coaching, and team development for its fragrance and beauty business.
Role & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with L&D team and cross-divisional stakeholders to identify and address sales and soft skills training needs within the fragrance and beauty products division
- Design, prepare, and deliver high-quality training programs that reflect Chanel's brand image and regional operational standards
- Conduct regular field coaching and one-on-one mentoring with counter managers to enhance retail leadership capability and point-of-sale performance
- Develop and facilitate local retail leadership programs and people development initiatives to strengthen team engagement and service excellence
- Evaluate training program effectiveness through structured assessments, feedback collection, and post-training follow-up mechanisms
- Provide comprehensive reporting on training outcomes, learning impact, and recommended action plans to regional and local leadership teams
- Support the L&D manager with organizational capability-building projects and initiatives to strengthen the learning function itself
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in retail training, learning and development, or talent development within a luxury retail or consumer goods environment
- Proven expertise in designing and delivering sales and soft skills training programs
- Strong coaching and mentoring capabilities with experience in field-based or on-site training delivery
- Knowledge of luxury brand standards, retail operations, and customer service excellence
- Ability to assess training effectiveness and translate learning outcomes into business impact
Skills
Experience
3–5 years of progressive experience in learning and development, retail training, or talent development, preferably within luxury retail, fashion, or beauty sectors. Demonstrated track record of designing and executing training programs that drive measurable improvements in retail team performance and customer service quality.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional certification in instructional design, training and development, or adult learning principles is advantageous.
