Chanel in Paris is recruiting an Assistant Project Manager — Supplier Performance (work‑study) starting Sept 2026. Alternance opportunity in the design office.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the project manager in piloting supplier (façonniers) performance across quality, lead times and costs.
- Collect, consolidate and analyse production data and KPIs to identify trends, bottlenecks and corrective actions.
- Prepare regular performance reports and executive summaries for the design office (bureau d’études) and cross‑functional stakeholders.
- Coordinate follow‑up with external manufacturers and internal teams to ensure adherence to technical specifications and delivery schedules.
- Assist in the preparation and tracking of technical packs, change requests and validation cycles.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of performance dashboards and monitoring tools.
- Organize project meetings, capture minutes, track action items and escalate issues when required.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing defects, shortening lead‑times and optimising cost‑to‑quality ratios.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s programme in industrial engineering, textile/fashion technology, supply chain management, product development or a related discipline (alternance/work‑study format).
- Strong analytical aptitude with experience manipulating data and KPIs.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to technical detail.
- Effective communicator with the ability to liaise with suppliers and multidisciplinary internal teams.
- Proactive, solution‑oriented mindset and ability to prioritise in a fast‑paced environment.

Work‑study position; no extensive professional experience required. Prior internships or practical exposure to production, supply chain, product development or supplier coordination are an advantage.
Education
Enrolled in an accredited Bachelor’s or Master’s programme in industrial engineering, textile/fashion technology, supply chain or related field (alternance/work‑study track).
