Chanel internship: Assistant Product Merchandiser, costume jewelry & accessories, European fashion division, Paris, 6 months from January 2027.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist the Product Merchandiser in overseeing costume jewelry and accessories activities across all European boutiques
- Ensure regular reporting of key performance indicators including sales, stock levels, sell-through rates, and stock turnover metrics
- Develop presentations and analytical reports for boutiques, European management, and corporate leadership
- Conduct ad hoc analyses addressing business priorities and market developments
- Define and implement action plans to optimize results, including inventory transfers, stock optimization, and product diversions
- Prepare procurement support tools and pre-purchase analyses for the boutique network
- Define reorder requests in advance of each buying session and track store-level purchases during showroom periods
- Present final purchasing results and analysis to European leadership
- Conduct competitive intelligence monitoring including fashion weeks, trend forecasting, price mapping, and collaborative collections
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from a business school or engineering school (BAC+5), graduating or recently graduated
- Proficiency in English; mastery of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Demonstrated analytical mindset with strong numerical reasoning
- Recognized for rigor, autonomy, numerical aptitude, adaptability, and analytical capability
- Prior experience in merchandising, marketing, procurement, or finance (highly valued)

First professional experience or internship in merchandising, marketing, buying, or finance preferred.
Education
Bachelor's degree (BAC+5) from a school of commerce or engineering; graduation expected or recently completed.
