Chanel is hiring an Assistant Product Manager in Palo Alto to support product lifecycle, merchandising and cross‑functional execution.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the end-to-end product lifecycle across seasonal collections, from concept and sampling to final delivery.
  • Coordinate cross-functional activities with design, merchandising, production, sourcing and supply chain to ensure on-time launch and quality standards.
  • Maintain and update PLM/product databases, tech packs, line sheets and product specifications.
  • Assist with costing, pricing checks and margin controls in collaboration with commercial and finance teams.
  • Analyze sell-through, inventory and performance data to inform assortment recommendations and replenishment decisions.
  • Prepare presentation materials and reports for internal stakeholders and collection reviews.
  • Liaise with external vendors and workshops to monitor development timelines, samples and quality issues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Business, Merchandising, Marketing or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrable understanding of product development and merchandising processes in apparel or accessories.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
  • High level of accuracy, organisation and attention to detail under tight deadlines.
  • Proactive problem-solver with a collaborative mindset and respect for luxury brand standards.

Experience
