Chanel internship: Assistant Procurement Officer, Fine Jewelry & Watchmaking, Paris, Jan 2027 (6 months).

Role & Responsibilities

  • Analyze and review workshop quotation submissions for accuracy and consistency
  • Validate quotation approval workflows and coordinate multi-stage approvals
  • Support negotiations with artisan workshops to achieve optimal pricing
  • Participate in pre-development studies for High-End Fine Jewelry and Watchmaking N+2 collections
  • Develop and implement procurement and sourcing analysis and reporting tools
  • Audit and ensure robustness of procurement databases and data integrity
  • Support annual price negotiation cycles for N+1 collections
  • Liaise with other divisions within the Fine Jewelry and Watchmaking department
  • Support deployment of contracts with strategic partners and cross-functional projects

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a business school or engineering program with a specialization in Procurement
  • Previous internship experience demonstrating practical expertise in data analysis
  • Genuine passion for and keen interest in the fine jewelry and luxury watchmaking sectors
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and complex data modeling
  • Professional fluency in French and English

Experience

At least one successful prior internship in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain functions where data analysis was a primary responsibility.
