Chanel seeks an Operations Assistant for alternating contract at the Cannes fashion boutique starting July/August 2024. Support store management, analyse sales performance, and gain luxury retail experience.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist the Store Operations Manager in monitoring and analysing boutique sales performance, KPIs, and daily operational metrics
- Conduct monthly and ad-hoc analysis of product performance, including sell-through rates, inventory velocity, best-sellers, slow-moving items, and merchandising effectiveness
- Evaluate and track sales associate performance metrics on a monthly basis
- Support general boutique operations including maintenance, security, and IT services coordination with the Operations Manager
- Prepare and manage supply orders (stationery, printed materials, uniforms) while adhering to allocated budgets
- Monitor and track customer shipment status and delivery
- Assist in preparing team briefings and operational information sessions for boutique staff
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a business school or university programme
- First professional experience in retail (sales, inventory management) or finance/operations
- Fluent English speaker
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong organisational and time-management capabilities
- Excellent presentation skills and interpersonal abilities

First professional experience in retail operations, sales, inventory management, or finance/administration preferred.
Education
Currently pursuing or recently completed studies at a business school or university programme.
