Chanel seeks an Assistant Marketing Manager in Paris to support makeup product marketing operations for the French market, January 2027.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage operational execution of makeup campaigns, including resource allocation (samples, gifts, merchandising), retail placement tracking, and B2B sales enablement tools
  • Prepare and deliver new product presentations to retail partners and conduct team briefings
  • Develop 360-degree experience books for new makeup product launches
  • Organize and prepare training seminars for commercial teams, including presentation materials and ordering guides
  • Monitor and manage the French makeup range including SKU entries and exits
  • Conduct sell-out performance analysis for new products with weekly and monthly reporting across three dimensions
  • Track makeup sales forecasts for direct retail (sell-in) and point-of-sale displays
  • Complete quantitative and qualitative campaign assessments while coordinating relevant internal departments
  • Maintain competitive intelligence on makeup market trends, new launches, and competitor activities
  • Animate and coordinate the Makeup Artist community in France
  • Support the rollout of new service offerings across the French market

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, or Marketing from a recognized institution
  • Demonstrated understanding of cosmetics products and the customer experience dimension
  • Strong analytical and organizational capabilities
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
  • Fluent written and oral communication skills
  • Fluent French language proficiency
