Chanel seeks an Assistant Manager in Data Intelligence for Hong Kong. Lead analytics initiatives, manage intelligence frameworks, and support strategic decisions.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee the development and maintenance of data intelligence frameworks and reporting infrastructure
- Analyse complex data sets and translate findings into strategic recommendations for senior management
- Collaborate with retail, merchandising, and ecommerce teams to identify intelligence requirements and deliver tailored insights
- Manage data quality assurance protocols and ensure integrity across analytical pipelines
- Present findings and insights to stakeholders with varying levels of technical expertise
- Mentor junior analysts and support the continuous development of the data team
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or related quantitative discipline
- 3–5 years of professional experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or related analytical role
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and data visualization tools
- Strong understanding of data architecture and database management systems
- Experience with structured query language (SQL) and at least one programming language
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex analytical concepts to non-technical audiences
Skills
Experience
3–5 years of professional experience in data analytics, business intelligence, data science, or a closely related analytical discipline, preferably within the luxury goods, retail, or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sectors.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field. Advanced certifications in analytics or data science (e.g., Tableau Desktop Specialist, Microsoft Certified Data Analyst) are advantageous.
