Chanel is hiring an Assistant Event Manager — Fashion in Hong Kong to support fashion shows and client activations across Hong Kong & Macau.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the planning and delivery of fashion shows, client events and activations across Hong Kong and Macau, ensuring adherence to Chanel brand standards and creative brief.
- Coordinate end‑to‑end event logistics including venue management, technical production, transportation, accommodation and on‑site operations.
- Assist with vendor sourcing, negotiation and contracting; manage relationships with production companies, caterers, AV teams, stylists and local partners.
- Maintain and monitor event budgets, purchase orders and cost tracking; prepare post‑event reconciliations and financial summaries.
- Develop detailed run‑sheets, production schedules and floor plans; lead on‑site rehearsals, load‑in/load‑out and execution.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders — creative, PR, retail and client relations teams — to align objectives, guest lists and VIP services.
- Produce post‑event reports, KPIs and lessons‑learned documentation to inform continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Events Management, Marketing, Communications, Hospitality or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven experience in live events, fashion shows or luxury brand activations; experience across Hong Kong and Macau markets preferred.
- Strong budgetary literacy and experience managing event P&L or cost control processes.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple parallel projects and tight timelines.
- Confident communicator with experience coordinating cross‑functional and external stakeholder groups.

Typically requires 3+ years of progressive experience delivering live events, fashion shows or luxury brand activations, with demonstrable exposure to vendor management, production logistics and budget control in fast‑paced, high‑visibility contexts.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Events Management, Marketing, Communications, Hospitality or equivalent; professional event management certification is a plus.
