Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the design team in concept development for objects, gifting and small leather goods: research, moodboards and trend reporting.
  • Produce and refine sketches, technical drawings and presentation materials for design reviews and internal approvals.
  • Collaborate with materials and trims teams to source leathers, fabrics and hardware appropriate to concept and price points.
  • Follow up on prototyping and sample stages with ateliers and external workshops, ensuring conformity to design intent and timelines.
  • Assist in preparing technical dossiers and spec sheets for production handover.
  • Coordinate with cross‑functional partners (product development, sourcing, production) to track project milestones.
  • Support administrative tasks for the design unit, including sample libraries, archiving and meeting coordination.
  • Contribute to fittings and product evaluations, documenting feedback and suggested adjustments.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a recognized degree programme in Fashion Design, Accessories Design, Product Design or equivalent.
  • Portfolio demonstrating accessories and/or small leather goods projects, including sketches, prototypes and technical detail.
  • Strong hand‑drawing and technical sketching capabilities with clear visual presentation skills.
  • Good understanding of materials, trims and construction methods specific to small leather goods.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and respect strict deadlines.
