Chanel seeks an Assistant, Creative Films & Imagery (alternance) in Neuilly‑sur‑Seine — apprenticeship in Perfumes & Beauty supporting film and stills production.

Overview

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the creative films and imagery team across pre‑production, production and post‑production for Perfumes & Beauty campaigns.
  • Assist in concept development: prepare moodboards, shot lists, storyboards and reference materials for internal review and agency partners.
  • Coordinate logistics for shoots and shoots-related suppliers: scheduling, location permits, casting support, props and wardrobe liaison.
  • Handle asset management: ingest, organize and tag stills and footage; prepare deliverables and maintain the media library.
  • Perform basic editing and assembly of dailies; support colour grading, retouching requests and versioning for multiple channels.
  • Liaise with external agencies, production companies and internal teams (marketing, legal, social) to ensure briefs and timelines are met.
  • Provide administrative and budgetary support for productions, including vendor follow‑up, invoicing support and expense tracking.
  • Ensure compliance with image rights, clearances and brand guidelines for all creative assets.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a recognised work‑study (alternance) programme in film, photography, visual communication, multimedia or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrable interest in beauty and fragrance communication, with a strong visual sensibility.
  • Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Good interpersonal skills and a proactive, collaborative attitude when working with internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Working knowledge of camera set protocols and basic production workflows.

Experience

Practical experience through previous internships or school projects in production, photography or a creative agency environment is preferred; ideally 6–18 months of hands‑on exposure to shoots, basic editing and asset management.

Education

Currently enrolled in a tertiary programme (Bachelor's or equivalent) in Film, Photography, Visual Communication, Multimedia, Marketing or a closely related field and eligible for alternance/work‑study.
