Chanel is recruiting an experienced Assistant Business Manager for its Fragrance and Beauty Counter at MYER Melbourne. The role supports the Business Manager in leading the team and overseeing retail activities that contribute to the brand’s image and market leadership.
Role & Responsibilities
- Supervise team performance, guide the team toward achieving results, and develop individual talents.
- Empower team members, provide support, and give ongoing feedback to Beauty Advisors.
- Partner with the Learning team to coach and mentor the team in client experience, sales techniques, service flows, product knowledge, and expertise.
- Meet CRM KPIs and proactively recruit, retain, and grow client loyalty.
- Ensure customer details and data are properly recorded and maintained in the designated company database via the company device; keep customer CRM data up to date in accordance with the policy on Collection and Protection of Company Data.
- Manage staff schedules, including daily operational zoning, to ensure floor coverage and optimal client service.
Qualifications
- At least two years of experience in a management role, preferably in a similar luxury environment.
- Strong retail operational skills.
- Relationship-focused and collaborative, with strong partnering and influencing skills.
- Ability to coach, develop, and empower people through listening and empathy, feedback and motivation, performance management, and delegation.
- Focus on delivering a luxurious client experience and the ability to develop a strong, loyal client network.
- High degree of professionalism and maturity in all areas of business.
