Chanel Demand Planning Analyst Intern in Paris — Support Fragrances & Beauty forecasting and optimize European inventory allocation.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage stock allocation to European markets for new product launches and monitor sales performance with adjustment recommendations
- Prepare and facilitate market feedback analysis meetings with Marketing and Merchandising teams for new products
- Establish forecasting guidelines in collaboration with regional Marketing teams for upcoming product launches
- Participate in building sales estimations for new products across assigned business axes
- Support monthly forecast revisions for the Fragrances & Beauty catalog
- Review and optimize existing reporting systems with continuous improvement recommendations
- Automate portfolio tracking and build dashboards for forecast versus budget monitoring
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a BAC+4 or BAC+5 program (business school, engineering school, or master's degree)
- Demonstrated proficiency with analytical and synthesis capabilities and critical thinking
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and general office software proficiency
- Strong verbal and written communication in English and French
- First significant experience in an analytical business role
- Passion for the cosmetics and beauty industry (preferred)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple departments
