Chanel seeks a Boutique Projects and Maintenance Coordinator in Taipei, Taiwan to oversee engineering, maintenance, and renovation across luxury boutiques.
Role & Responsibilities
- Identify maintenance and engineering needs across Fashion and Watch/Fine Jewelry boutiques and plan all aspects of electrical, mechanical, and preventive maintenance
- Contact and manage contractors on scheduling, quotation negotiation, execution timelines, and quality control oversight
- Conduct regular on-site boutique inspections and supervision; provide recommendations and oversee repair, renovation, and refurbishment projects
- Schedule routine and reactive maintenance; ensure timely execution while maintaining quality standards
- Manage loose furniture, materials ordering, shipment coordination, and implementation across boutique locations
- Prepare monthly maintenance reports and provide feedback to contractors on work quality and adherence to standards
- Conduct annual maintenance cost analysis and planning to ensure expenses remain within approved budgets
- Coordinate boutique renovation and new opening projects with internal teams; review layouts, oversee BOH design, and manage materials procurement
- Supervise contractor work on maintenance retrofits and major projects including Fine Jewelry and Watch wholesale spaces
- Liaise with contracted security companies on boutique security protocols, emergency procedures, and key-holder management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
- 3–5 years of professional experience in interior design, visual merchandising, or boutique operations
- Proficiency in computer graphic design software such as AutoCAD and Adobe Illustrator
- Project management experience in retail or hospitality environment
- Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and facilities maintenance protocols
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple contractors and vendors simultaneously
Skills
Experience
3–5 years of professional experience in interior design, visual merchandising, boutique maintenance, or related retail/hospitality facilities management. Prior exposure to luxury retail environments and multi-location project coordination is advantageous.
Education
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; majors in Interior Design or Architecture preferred.
