Chanel in Taipei City seeks an Assistant Boutique Projects and Maintenance Manager to oversee store projects and maintenance across boutiques.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support planning, coordination and execution of boutique refurbishment, fit-out and upgrade projects from concept through handover, ensuring alignment with Chanel brand and visual standards.
- Oversee routine and preventive maintenance programmes for boutiques across the Taipei district, managing work schedules to minimise operational disruption.
- Source, evaluate and manage external contractors and specialised vendors; negotiate scope, timelines and commercial terms while ensuring contractual compliance and quality control.
- Monitor project budgets and OPEX/Maintenance spend, prepare cost forecasts and progress reports for regional management.
- Conduct on-site technical inspections and quality assurance checks to verify workmanship and adherence to MEP, fire safety and accessibility regulations.
- Liaise with boutique managers, regional property teams and corporate stakeholders to coordinate access, permits and operational requirements.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, asset records and maintenance logs; implement improvements to processes and service-level response times.
Qualifications
- Technical diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering, building services, architecture, facilities management or a related field.
- Proven ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects with competing priorities, delivering on time and within budget.
- Strong vendor and contract management experience, including tendering and performance evaluation.
- Solid knowledge of building services (MEP), site safety, local regulatory requirements and store-specific technical systems.
- Excellent stakeholder management and written/verbal communication skills; strong attention to detail and brand sensibility.
Skills
Experience
Typically 5+ years of progressive experience in facilities, building services or retail projects management, with demonstrable exposure to boutique or store fit-outs and maintenance; prior experience within luxury retail or premium retail environments is strongly preferred.
Education
Diploma or degree in engineering, building services, architecture, facilities/estate management or equivalent technical qualification.
