Chanel Assistant Boutique Manager, Toronto: Manage daily operations, lead sales team, and deliver luxury customer experience in North York boutique. Full-time, $100k–$110k CAD + commission.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Assist the Boutique Manager with efficient day-to-day management and operations, including ensuring sufficient floor coverage while monitoring standards of customer service, product care, staff presentation and teamwork
  • Provide the highest level of customer service at all times, overseeing the team in upholding CHANEL Charter standards and delivering prompt responses to telephone queries and comprehensive after-sales care
  • Establish, maintain and encourage strong customer relationships through welcoming customers, presenting new collections, and managing customer database entries and CRM support activities such as thank-you cards
  • Encourage and support selling staff in maintaining focus on commercial objectives and goals, assisting management in driving and tracking sales performance on a timely basis
  • Coach and develop the team in applying expert standards of product knowledge and selling skills to maximize sales opportunities through in-the-moment guidance and structured training delivery
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management across boutiques as well as senior leadership and CHANEL Head Office, ensuring appropriate dissemination and monitoring of CHANEL Charter adherence
  • Organize, structure and monitor weekly quotas, daily breaks and staff scheduling with timely communication to all team members
  • Monitor handling and storing of goods to ensure highest visual standards are respected, verifying that all stock is security tagged and correctly ticketed
  • Oversee quality control at the point of sale and assist with management of display and maintenance requirements to uphold visual merchandising excellence
  • Monitor time and absence management amongst the team while ensuring adherence to dress code, grooming guidelines and high standards of personal presentation detailed within the CHANEL Charter
  • Maintain boutique cleanliness and tidiness across customer, stock and staff areas, ensuring products are replaced neatly and promptly
  • Lead structured morning briefings and participatory meetings to communicate daily execution plans and keep the team aligned on priorities
  • Maintain absolute confidentiality of the Company's commercial activities and internal affairs at all times
