Chanel internship: 6-month Sales Manager Assistant role in Paris fashion boutique (July–December 2023), combining operations, merchandising, and luxury retail service.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Sales Manager in supervising and coordinating sales team activities, including workforce scheduling and field operations optimization
- Ensure consistent implementation of boutique procedures and adherence to the Chanel Boutique Charter
- Coordinate boutique opening preparations, including team briefings, supplies provisioning, packing areas, and watchmaking display setup
- Monitor and maintain merchandising standards in alignment with Chanel's visual guidelines
- Track customer reservations, pending orders, and inter-boutique transfers
- Welcome and advise customers during peak traffic periods, providing personalized luxury retail service
Qualifications
- Enrolled in or recently graduated from a business school or university program
- Previous experience in luxury retail sales
- Demonstrated passion for fashion and the luxury sector
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
- Strong command of English and proficiency with standard business software and systems
