Chanel is hiring an Assistant Boutique Director, Fragrance & Beauty in Brooklyn to lead boutique sales, clienteling and team performance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Drive boutique sales for fragrance and beauty categories to achieve and exceed weekly and monthly KPIs.
- Lead, coach and schedule a team of beauty consultants and sales associates to deliver exemplary client experiences.
- Develop and execute clienteling strategies including VIP appointment management, follow-ups and personalized service initiatives.
- Ensure flawless boutique presentation and merchandising in line with Chanel visual standards and product launches.
- Manage inventory control, stock replenishment and liaison with supply chain and regional teams to maintain optimal assortment levels.
- Deliver product and sales training to the team, maintaining deep expertise in fragrance and skincare lines.
- Support loss-prevention procedures and ensure compliance with brand security and operational policies.
- Assist the Boutique Director with local marketing events, in-store activations and cross-functional initiatives to drive footfall and loyalty.
- Prepare and present accurate sales and operational reports to regional management; contribute to forecasting and promotional planning.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience in luxury beauty or fragrance retail, with demonstrable sales results.
- Exceptional clienteling and relationship-management capabilities, especially with high-value clients and VIPs.
- Strong visual merchandising sensibility and the ability to execute brand presentation standards.
- Excellent communication and coaching skills; capable of developing team performance through targeted training.
- Sound operational knowledge of boutique processes including inventory management, cash handling and loss prevention.

Experience
Minimum 3–5 years of progressive experience in luxury beauty or fragrance retail, including supervisory or assistant-management responsibilities and a proven track record of meeting sales targets.
Education
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience in luxury retail or beauty.
