Chanel Alteration Assistant internship in Monaco. Six-month couture role focusing on garment alterations and boutique operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Learn to execute alterations using alteration specification sheets and direction from the senior alterations fitter
- Read and interpret alteration cards with careful attention to couture techniques and client contextual information
- Interpret pin placements and prepare alteration stages in consultation with the senior fitter
- Verify each alteration stage by fitting the garment on a mannequin to ensure proper fit and finish
- Conduct initial quality control of completed work
- Press and present finished garments to the senior fitter for final quality review
- Represent the Chanel House as a brand ambassador, embodying its codes and values
- Participate in key boutique meetings and briefings to understand the maison's strategic objectives
- Support overall boutique operations and coordination
