Chanel Assistant Accountant (Contract) in Seoul, South Korea | Finance & Accounting Role
Role & Responsibilities
- Review, verify, and post travel and expense journals, ensuring receipts match reimbursement amounts and compliance with T&E policies
- Manage expense processing workflows in Concur and Coupa, including approval routing and user support across divisions
- Issue, activate, and update corporate card information for new employees and manage card company communications
- Prepare accrual expense journals and reconcile dimension combinations during financial closing periods
- Conduct regular vendor code reviews in AX system and prepare intercompany billing invoices for recharges
- Support VAT filing and other local tax-related compliance activities
- Distribute ledger summaries and financial reports to division users and participate in process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field
- Maximum 1–2 years of professional experience in Finance or Accounting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Strong interpersonal communication skills with ability to coordinate across divisions and international teams
