Chanel is seeking an Applied Data Science and AI Intern to join the Data and AI team at its Research Centre in Pantin, studying how available data can better characterize product formulas. The six-month internship starts in February 2027 and focuses on data management, analysis and advanced modelling, with a possible interactive web application.
Role & Responsibilities
- Compile and structure data from internal and external evaluations (data management).
- Conduct descriptive analyses to identify trends and influential factors.
- Develop advanced analytical models using Machine Learning, Deep Learning and generative AI to explore relationships between formula characteristics and observed results.
- Where applicable, design an interactive web application using Shiny or Streamlit to facilitate access to results based on different input criteria.
Qualifications
- Currently studying for a Master’s degree or at an engineering school in Data Science, statistics or computer science.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL and interactive web application development using Streamlit or Shiny.
- Experience with R is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Databricks is a significant advantage.
- Curiosity, autonomy and adaptability.
