Role & Responsibilities
- Support the development, optimization and transfer of analytical methods for raw materials used in fragrances and beauty formulations (e.g., chromatographic and spectroscopic techniques).
- Perform routine and exploratory analyses on incoming raw materials and formulated samples, including sample preparation and instrument operation.
- Contribute to method validation activities and generation of associated validation documentation according to internal quality standards and regulatory expectations.
- Analyze and interpret analytical data, prepare clear technical reports and present findings to the R&D/Quality teams.
- Maintain accurate laboratory records, reagent inventories and equipment calibration logs; ensure compliance with safety and good laboratory practice (GLP).
- Collaborate with formulators, suppliers and quality teams to resolve analytical issues and support supplier qualification when required.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Master’s program, engineering school or equivalent in analytical chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, chemical engineering or related discipline (M1/M2 preferred).
- Practical laboratory experience in chromatographic and spectrometric techniques; previous internships in an analytical R&D or QC laboratory advantageous.
- Knowledge of method validation principles and basic understanding of regulatory requirements applicable to cosmetic/fragrance raw materials.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to document results clearly and present technical findings to multidisciplinary teams.
- Rigorous attention to detail, strong organisational skills and a proactive, collaborative approach.

Experience
Practical hands‑on experience in an analytical laboratory environment obtained through academic laboratory coursework and prior internships; experience with method development and validation is preferred.
Education
Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate programme in analytical chemistry, pharmacy, chemical engineering or a closely related scientific field (M1/M2 level preferred).
