Chanel seeks Strategic Projects Manager for Alternative Distribution Channels in Paris. Lead strategic initiatives across fashion retail operations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Contribute to strategic structuring of alternative distribution channels approach by providing framework, methodology, and tooling support to the Director
  • Structure and support the roadmap for monitoring alternative distribution channels and retail team support initiatives, including regional needs assessment and functional workshops
  • Accompany cross-functional teams through construction, validation, and deployment phases of positioning and associated treatments
  • Define project plans and oversee their execution in collaboration with local business teams, legal, IT, and sensitive communications functions
  • Design functional responses to regional needs while ensuring consistency with the house's positioning and brand protection
  • Author comprehensive project documentation including needs syntheses, functional specifications, and technical requirements
  • Formalize annual activity reports and strategic analyses for the General Direction of Mode and Brand
  • Contribute to divisional working groups and identify synergies with related initiatives and tools across other teams

Qualifications

  • Degree +5 years post-secondary education (BAC+5) from a business school, engineering school, or master's degree in statistics, economics, or related field
  • Minimum 7 years of professional experience in strategic or project management roles
  • Demonstrated expertise in strategic analysis, with strong capabilities in structuring, analytical rigor, synthesis, and recommendation formulation
  • Proven statistical analysis competencies
  • Excellent interpersonal and dialogue facilitation skills, with experience coordinating across diverse functional expertise and international contexts
  • Comfort operating within matrix organizational structures
  • Professional-level English proficiency in both written and oral communication
