Role & Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality altered merchandise within established time frame standards.
- Provide excellent service while establishing and maintaining customer relationships.
- Work effectively with associates and management in the boutique.
- Fit garments with clients and alter a wide range of garments.
- Organize and maintain client-owned pieces in line with Chanel's expectations.
- Interact with clients to suggest styling and fitting advice.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Chanel-specific alteration techniques.
- Ensure sewing machines and other equipment are in proper working order.
- Build positive team relationships to inspire trust and teamwork.
- Alter or repair clients' garments, including hemming, mending, lengthening, and adjusting seams.
- Fit garments on clients to determine necessary alterations.
- Construct garments according to clients’ specifications and preferences.
- Label clients' garments and record required alterations.
- Communicate with clients to determine their specifications, needs, and preferences.
- Use irons and pressing machines to remove creases from garments.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of alterations experience in a luxury retail environment preferred.
- Sound knowledge of various fabrics and sewing techniques.
- Ability to work under time constraints.
- Effective communication skills.
- Exceptional client service skills.
- Detail-oriented.

Compensation
