Role & Responsibilities
- Develop materialized views, metrics views, and dashboards using modern data tools and GenAI capabilities such as Talk to my Data
- Participate in the migration of legacy BI and visualization usages to native AI/BI platform capabilities
- Contribute to the refactoring and modernization of historical applications to improve performance, maintainability, and alignment with Data Factory standards
- Support the implementation of agentic AI initiatives aimed at enhancing Data Factory build and run efficiency
- Progressively assume end-to-end development responsibilities as competencies advance
- Collaborate closely with technical and business teams to understand operational priorities and data requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree +5 or equivalent in engineering, computer science, data science, or statistics (in alternation format)
- Proficiency in SQL and Python programming
- Understanding of GenAI and Agentic AI concepts (RAG)
- Knowledge of Databricks (Unity Catalog, SDP, AI/BI, agent bricks) and Microsoft services (Azure, DevOps, Power BI, Fabric)
- Attention to detail, progressive autonomy, and strong interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration
Skills
Experience
Prior experience with data modernization initiatives and AI solution implementation is preferred. Curiosity about modern data environments and demonstrated interest in data engineering and AI projects are valued.
Education
Bachelor's degree +5 in engineering, computer science, data science, statistics, or a related field. Completion of a specialized master's programme in data or AI is preferred.
