Role & Responsibilities

  • Execute hand‑stitching, skiving, edge finishing, gluing and colour touch‑ups with precision and consistent finish
  • Operate and maintain relevant industrial and hand tools; ensure cleanliness and calibration of equipment
  • Document repairs, parts used and time records; maintain traceability in accordance with atelier procedures
  • Collaborate closely with Customer Service, workshop supervisors and quality control to prioritise repairs and meet lead‑time commitments
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of repair techniques and uphold brand finishing standards

Qualifications

  • Vocational qualification in leather goods (CAP maroquinerie), leather craftsmanship, couture or equivalent artisanal training
  • Demonstrable manual dexterity with an eye for fine detail and cosmetic finishing
  • Understanding of leather types, adhesives, edge paints and appropriate repair methodologies
  • Ability to follow technical dossiers, repair protocols and quality control checklists
  • Professionalism and respect for luxury brand standards, including discretion when handling client items

Experience

CAP/BEP in maroquinerie, leatherwork, couture or equivalent vocational certification; on‑the‑job apprenticeship in luxury repair is acceptable.
