Role & Responsibilities

- Operate and maintain relevant industrial and hand tools; ensure cleanliness and calibration of equipment
- Document repairs, parts used and time records; maintain traceability in accordance with atelier procedures
- Collaborate closely with Customer Service, workshop supervisors and quality control to prioritise repairs and meet lead‑time commitments
- Contribute to continuous improvement of repair techniques and uphold brand finishing standards
Qualifications
- Vocational qualification in leather goods (CAP maroquinerie), leather craftsmanship, couture or equivalent artisanal training
- Demonstrable manual dexterity with an eye for fine detail and cosmetic finishing
- Understanding of leather types, adhesives, edge paints and appropriate repair methodologies
- Ability to follow technical dossiers, repair protocols and quality control checklists
- Professionalism and respect for luxury brand standards, including discretion when handling client items
Skills
Experience
Typically 2+ years of hands‑on experience in leather goods repair, restoration or a luxury atelier environment. Experience with high‑end handbags, small leather goods or couture accessories is preferred.
Education
CAP/BEP in maroquinerie, leatherwork, couture or equivalent vocational certification; on‑the‑job apprenticeship in luxury repair is acceptable.
