Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end accounts receivable cycle: invoicing, cash application, posting receipts and credit notes.
  • Reconcile customer accounts and aged receivables; investigate and resolve discrepancies with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Drive collections and credit-control activities in line with company policies to minimise outstanding balances.
  • Prepare and support month-end and year-end close tasks related to receivables, including accruals and reconciliations.
  • Liaise with Sales, Customer Service and Logistics to resolve disputed items and ensure correct revenue recognition.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, company accounting policies and applicable French accounting standards.
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and providing documentation for receivables processes.
  • Participate in process-improvement projects and ERP/system optimisation initiatives affecting receivables.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent qualification.
  • Solid knowledge of accounts receivable processes and generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritise workload, meet tight month-end deadlines and work within cross-functional teams.
  • Professional integrity and discretion when handling sensitive financial information.

Experience
