Role & Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable processes, ensuring accurate invoice processing, purchase order matching, supplier master data maintenance, and timely resolution of discrepancies
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities, perform reconciliations, and monitor Accounts Payable KPIs
• Ensure compliance with financial reporting requirements and Group standards
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across CHANEL's Fashion, Fragrance & Beauty, and Watches & Fine Jewelry divisions in Iberia
• Support onboarding of team members on AP processes and provide documentation for internal and external audits
• Maintain accurate fixed asset records, including registrations, depreciation, and amortization
• Act as Concur key user, ensuring compliance with Travel & Expense policies and managing exception reporting
• Identify and execute opportunities to optimize Accounts Payable processes, including digitalization and e-Invoicing projects
• Contribute to Finance transformation initiatives and continuous improvement efforts

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Accounting, or Audit
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of VAT and tax regulations related to Accounts Payable
• Experience with accounting systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, or Oracle
• Experience with procurement and expense management platforms such as Coupa or Concur
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build effective relationships with suppliers, auditors, and cross-functional teams
• Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with ability to identify process improvement opportunities

Skills

Experience

Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Accounts Payable, Accounting, or Audit. Previous experience within the retail, fashion, or luxury industry is highly valued. Big Four professional services experience is considered a significant advantage.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
