Chanel seeks an Accounting Coordinator for its Türkiye office, reporting to the Accounting Manager and joining the Accounting Team. The role covers compliant invoice recording, accounting procedures, inventory costing and reconciliation, closing entries, audit documentation, government reporting, tax declarations, and fixed-asset accounting.
Role & Responsibilities
- Record invoices and equivalent documents in accordance with applicable accounting standards and legal regulations, and verify the accuracy of these records.
- Prepare reports on completed work upon request.
- Follow accounting procedures and regulations.
- Perform inventory costing and reconciliation.
- Prepare provisions and year-end closing entries in compliance with accounting standards.
- Provide documentation to the audit team.
- Prepare reports required by government institutions under applicable legal regulations.
- Prepare tax declarations.
- Process fixed-asset transactions and record depreciation.
Qualifications
- 5–8 years of experience in accounting roles, most recently as an Accounting Coordinator or in a similar role.
- University degree in Business, Economics, or a related field; an MSc or MA is an advantage.
- In-depth knowledge of IFRS accounting.
- Experience analyzing, implementing, and evaluating accounting procedures and IFRS.
- Excellent communication abilities.
- Fluency in Turkish and English.

Education
